The Dino Baffetti Accordion Factory is manufacturing instruments again following the devastating and destructive factory fire on 14 March 2024.
The flames involved two floors of the factory, which covers a big area plus smoke damage. The fire brigade was on the scene, with teams from Osimo and Ancona. Luckily no people were injured. Reasons for the fire was found in the production part of the factory, caused by an electricity power strip for heating the wax early in the morning, to be ready for the workers to use, once they start to work.
Most of the instruments positioned in the middle part of the factory were completely damaged and could no longer be used. The entire factory had to be cleaned up from top to bottom due to heavy smell of burn, smoke and dust.

The Baffetti family (Genuino, Cinzia and Milena, picture below) were overwhelmed by the big support received from the other accordion related factories, who promptly offered their help as well as all the Dino Baffetti factory workers themselves.
Now, only 3 months later, the Baffetti Accordion company was able to “wash” away all stains in the factory and also from their hearts, getting ready with all their possible efforts, to continue to supply their customers.
AWW congratulates Dino Baffetti for this superb achievement being able to restart the accordion factory so quickly.
