Gemini Duo, which comprises of accordionists Wanchen Zhao and Wanxu Zhao will give a concert tour in China beginning at the Liangchu Culture Centre in Hangzhou, on June 28th, 2026, from 7.30pm.

The concerts are a new cross-cultural project entitled “Herrrr: Present in All Directions”, which explore new musical perspectives through the unique combination of accordion and Pipa (widely regarded as one of China’s most important stringed instruments).

In addition to their collaborative concerts with the two pipa artists, the Gemini Duo will also present dedicated Gemini Duo accordion recitals, including a special concert in Shenzhen, and the lecture at the Shenzhen accordion festival sharing the rich possibilities of the accordion duo repertoire with audiences.

July 11th at 1701 Open Space in Nanjing
July 17th at the Shenzhen Accordion festival
July 19th to 25th at the Music Cross Border Summer Camp in Lincang – bringing music and art education to children in the border region between China and Myanmar
July 26th to 30th Final concerts in Dali
