The Gemini Duo will perform a concert entitled “Classical Accordion Across Cultures” at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music in New York, USA on September 19th, 2026 at 7pm.

The duo says: “this concert is all about showing the accordion from a different perspective — as a modern classical instrument capable of orchestral colour, intimacy, complexity and entirely new sound worlds.”

The programme will feature the world premiere of “Shadow Selves” by Stephen Morris (USA), written specifially for accordion duo. Also on the program will be the U.S. premiere of “Fast Track” by Martin Lohse and orchestra transcription work.
