The Gemini Duo (Denmark) have released their brand-new single, Piazzolla’s “Milonga del Ángel”, arranged by the duo and released this week on the Evidence Classics Music label.

The duo say: “This piece has been with us for a long time — we’ve played it in concerts, experimented with colours, and enjoyed its mix of elegance and fire every time. Recording it felt a bit like returning to an old friend, yet hearing it take shape in the studio brought something new and exciting for both of us.”

This is also one of the tracks from their upcoming album, which will be released in the near future.

The duo features accordionists Wanchen Zhao and Wanxu Zhao, who both studied at the Royal Academy of Music in Copenhagen, Denmark, with Geir Draugsvoll.
