Accordionist George Butrumlis will perform at Perasmenes Mou Agapes (Past Loves), a musical tribute to the greatest creators of Greek folk song.

The event will be held at the Brunswick Ballroom in Brunswick, Victoria, Australia on April 26th, 2026 from 2pm.

Butrumlis will perform with Effie Andrianou (vocals), Vangelis Ginis (vocals), Angelo Avramakis (bouzouki), Giorgos Spirou (bouzouki), Stan Fournarakis (piano) and Nicholas Baltas (guitar).

“This musical tribute awakens the memories of a bygone era, where melodies spoke to the soul. A night full of emotion, images, sounds, and stories from the golden age of Greek music. A journey through the songs that raised us, comforted us, and continue to move us.”

Their program will include works of Vassilis Tsitsanis, Manos Hadjidakis, Mikis Theodorakis, Apostolos Kaldaras, Giorgos Zampetas, Manolis Chiotis, Stavros Xarchakos, and other legendary artists.

“This is more than a concert — it’s a heartfelt tribute to the soul of post-war Greece, and to the beauty that emerged through adversity.”
