Premiere of the first movement of Gorka Hermosa’s Sonata No. 3 ‘Peace Dream’ based on the Ukrainian traditional melody ‘Freckle’ and the Russian traditional melody ‘Meadow Duck’. The full work will be premiered by Vladimir Stupnikov at the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg, Großer Saal in October 2024.

Vladimir Stupnikov is a highly acclaimed accordionist from Ufa, Russia, born in 1996. He began his musical journey at an early age, studying in St. Petersburg under prominent teachers. Stupnikov has won over 20 international competitions, including the 71^st Coupe Mondiale, held in Osimo, Italy. He has performed globally on prestigious stages in countries like Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, and Russia.

Renowned for his technical skill and expressive performances, he continues to develop his career through solo and ensemble work and will also premiere ‘Ciberian Cranes’  by Andreas Urevskty in Vienna on November 23rd.
