International Accordion Festival FIA 2025 – Chile

The International Accordion Festival FIA 2025 will be held from November 17th to 23rd, 2025 in Ñuñoa, Santiago, San Bernardo, San Vicente de Tagua Tagua and Rancagua y La Granja in Chile, organised by the Fundación Entre Fuelles.

The aim of the “travelling” festival is to elevate the accordion in Chile beyond its traditional uses, into more diverse, expressive, and “future‐oriented” contexts and to reach new audiences, especially young people and in university/university contexts.

The Artistic Director is Joaquín Muñoz Donoso (also President of the Foundation).

The festival will feature a variety of concerts, masterclasses/workshops, open meetings of accordionists, exhibitions, daily interviews with guest artists and a grand closing concert with over 50 accordionists.

International guests from Italy, Brazil, Serbia, Russia, Colombia and Mexico are expected.

The event will begin with an exhibition of the documentary “FIA 2024 Maule”, a work that celebrates the passion and art of the accordion in Chile. This will be held on November 17th at the Bueno–Müller Auditorium.

November 19th, at 7pm: concert at the CNA Auditorium of Conservatorio Nacional de Acordeón in San Bernardo, Santiago Metropolitan Region, Chile. Performers will be Mirco Patarini (Confédération Internationale des AccordéonistesCIA President), Ignacio Hernández and Joaquín Muñoz Donoso.

November 23rd: FIA 2025 Closing concert in La Granja hosted by Orquesta Nacional de Acordeones de Chile (ONACH) at Space Matta.
