The 8th Jazz Accordion Festival 2025 (JAF 2025) will be held at the On Stage Club in Castelfidardo and the Cortesoi Theatre in Sirolo, Italy from March 14th to 16th, 2025.

The festival is organised by Ruben Cittadini and the artistic director is Simone Zanchini.

Program as follows:

Friday, March 14th, 22:00 – Inaugural concert at the On Stage Club Castelfidardo: Thanos Stavridis & Aggeliki Taubanaki (Greece) – Crossover Duet

March 14th and 15th – Improvisation Masterclass by Raffale Conti and Domenico Saccente. The masterclass will cover “individual and collective improvisation to discover one’s own expressive talent, through topics ranging from the origin and philosophy of music to the introduction to jazz accordion and improvisation, covering elements of harmony, voicing, phrasing, stamp, rhythm and left hand, interpretation, interplay etc.”

Saturday March 15th, 22:00 – On Stage Club Castelfidardo: guest of honour, Joao Frade (Portugal) will perform with the JAF Rhythmic session

Sunday March 16th, 18:00 – Cortesi Sirolo Theater: Vince Abbracciante & Javier Girotto (Italy/Argentina). The duo will perform on accordion, saxophone and Andes flute, “thus uniting jazz and Italian-Argentine traditions in a suggestive sonic embrace that creates new bridges between jazz, folklore and tango”.
