Following the concert trip by the Accordion Orchestra Swentibold (Netherlands) to Malta in 2024, the Santa Maria Accordion Band from Malta, conducted by Marthé Busuttil Cassar, is planning a return trip to the Netherlands this year.

The Accordion Orchestra Swentibold conducted by Henk Tiebosch, have organised an accordion concert weekend from September 12th to 14th, 2025, which will include an open rehearsal followed by two concerts.

The Accordion Orchestra Swentibold has a very diverse repertoire consisting of, among others, classical and modern works for accordion, church music, musicals, songs, tangos, musette, waltzes, marches, folk music etc.

The Santa Maria Accordion Band was founded in 1992 by Mrs. Marthese Busuttil Cassar and is the only one of its kind in Malta. The band’s repertoire includes classical and contemporary music.

Concert dates are:

• September 12th, 2025, from 7.30pm to 9pm – Open orchestra rehearsal at the Community Center ‘t Tuurhoes in Guttecoven, Limburg
• September 13th, 2025, from 6.30pm to 8pm – 1st joint concert at Mariapark, EN Sittard
• September 14th, 2025, from 6.30pm to 8pm – 2nd joint concert at Salviuskerkje, Limbricht
