The Jubilee Concert “20 Years of Bete Ilin’s Compositions” was held recently in Macedonia.
The composition “Done” (Bete Ilin) was especially composed for the World Accordion Day event and is dedicated to Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) Vice President Zorica Karakutovska. Bete has been always inspired by Macedonian traditional music, using motives in her compositions of contemporary music. In the composition “Done” she selected three beautiful songs which contain the traditional Macedonian name Done. For the Jubilee Concert celebrating “20 Years of Bete Ilin’s Compositions”, Bete reworked the composition for a performance with a string orchestra, which was conducted by Rebecca Tong.
CIA President Mirco Patarini came from Italy to perform the Bete Ilin composition ‘Dafino’ at the anniversary concert.
The pictures of the full hall and very enthusiastic audience show just how appreciated and loved Bete Ilin is, for her 20 years of celebrated compositions, many of which have been composed for the accordion and performed in many countries of the world. Thank you Bete Ilin for your contribution to accordion!
