Well-known Finnish accordionist Jukka-Pekka Kuusela conducted a master class and performed an Accordion Masters’ Concert in conjunction with the 9th International Accordion Festival of Hungary, held at the Liszt Academy in Budapest from November 20th to 23rd, 2025, and organized by the Liszt Academy. The Artistic Director of the festival was well known Hungarian accordionist, professor Mihály Demeniv.

The participants of the master class were mostly students from the Liszt Academy as well as representatives from Serbia, Slovakia and China.

The Accordion Master’s Concert was held in the Concert Hall of the Old Music Academy in Budapest with performances by three artists: Jukka-Pekka Kuusela, Roman Pechmann and Mihály Demeniv.

Their program featured music by Rameau, Franck, Liszt, Troyan, Groethe, Kyllönen, V. Mendelssohn and Piazzolla. The hall was full and the audience was very enthusiastic.
