On May 11th, 2024, well-known Finnish accordionist Jukka-Pekka Kuusela (former student of Friedrich Lips) played a concert with Kalle Välimaa (organ – former student of V. Muntyan and Friedrich Lips) in the Sotkamo Chappell in Sotkamo, Kainuu, Finland.

Their program was based on Das Orgelbüchlein by J.S. Bach. The lovely spring evening saw many local people and tourists enjoying the holy music by J.S. Bach.

During his visit in Kainuu region, Kalle Välimaa also coached young local accordionists in ensemble playing directing among others the world premiere of his own large scaled work SäkkiS for 2 soloists, 8 accordionists and tape.
