KORG participated in the Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) Autumn Congress 2025, held in East Sarajevo, Bosnia, where musicians and representatives from around the world gathered for the 2025 CIA Coupe Mondiale and the 154th CIA International General Assembly of Delegates Congress to discuss future international accordion competitions, festivals, Congresses plus member reports and activities.
Fati Fehmiju – member of the Japanese Accordion Association and Project Leader of the Korg Fisa Suprema – attended the congress as a guest Japanese representative, following an invitation from CIA President Mirco Patarini.

Secretary General Kimmo Mattila
After the Congress, Fehmiju shared his reflections:
- “This marks an important step for both the Japanese Accordion Association and the future of digital accordion development. Together with all accordion enthusiasts, we aim to further promote and expand the accordion culture – both in acoustic and digital forms – through friendship, communication, and collaboration.
- The accordion, as a musical instrument, unites us all regardless of where we live or what kind of music we play. I truly believe that through these connections, the accordion world will continue to grow, and the newest member of our community, the Korg Fisa Suprema, will play an important role in this evolution.
- I would like to express my sincere gratitude for this invitation, and I will continue working to bring the Japanese Accordion Association into the CIA officially in the near future.”
