The Korg Fisa Suprema was premiered in China by Pietro Adragna (Italy) at the 2025 Shanghai Spring 7th International Accordion Festival.

For Pietro, this was a return to Shanghai, the city where he won in 2011 Coupe Mondiale Virtuoso Entertainment category and the Coupe Mondiale Digital Accordion category.

The 2025 – 7th International Shanghai Spring Accordion Culture and Arts Week, is an important part of the 40th Shanghai Spring Music Festival, and took place from March 31 to April 7 in Shanghai’s Changning district. Organized by the Shanghai Musician Association, Changning District Culture and Tourism Bureau, and other partners (list below), the event featured a diverse lineup of performances and activities centered around the theme “Echoes of Tradition and Modernity”.

The Breezing Terrace of the Columbia Circle, a multifunctional complex with offices, stores, a bookshop, restaurants and cafes, was the venue for the “Melodies with the wind” concert for the public. The new complex was full of people and had a very nice outdoor concert venue with good sound and lighting for the audience. Concert poster below.

 CIA Secretary General Kimmo Mattila led the Symposium and recital concert about the history of the accordion and its development in many countries. Pietro Adragna performed a Sicilian Medley as part of the segment about the contribution of Italy to the history and development of the accordion.

The Grand Ceremony Concert with its theme of ‘Echoes of Tradition and Modernity’ was held at the very prestigious Hongqiao Art Center. This important concert was attended by many City officials and dignatories and Pietro Adragna was performing at the end of the concert.

Pietro Adragna completed his solo performances combining in a duo with Hu Chenyun who played the Suona, a traditional double-reeded Chinese musical instrument. The concert ended with thunderous applause for the duo.
