The song “Starman Brothers” is dedicated to the three young brothers Viktor, Melker & Simon Starman and the band features performers:

Formed in 1997, the Lars Karlsson Band made a groundbreaking debut the following year with their self-titled album Lars Karlsson Band. The release featured the now-legendary track Pizza-Shuffle, which made history by staying on the Swedish Radio Top Charts for three weeks—making it the first time ever that an instrumental accordion piece achieved such success in Sweden.
In 2002, the band released their second album 2002, with the standout track Vandringsvisa climbing onto the popular Svensktoppen charts in October of that year. Over the years, the Lars Karlsson Band has become renowned for its boundary-pushing musical identity, seamlessly fusing elements from a wide array of genres. Their performances are known not only for technical brilliance but also for a deep sense of musicality, passion, and energy.

Led by frontman Lars Karlsson—one of the Nordic region’s foremost diatonic accordionists—the band has achieved both national and international acclaim. Karlsson won the senior class in the Nordic Championships in 1993, was voted “Accordion Player of the Year” in Sweden in 2001, and received the prestigious SKAP scholarship for his inventive compositions, placing him alongside celebrated figures like Alice Babs and ABBA’s Björn Ulvaeus.
