Marta Cubas Hondal, MUK Young Artist, will present her “Songs of the Earth” concert at the Palais Ehrbar, Small Ehrbar Hallin Vienna, Austria on November 11th, 2024, from 6.30pm.

Marta will “guide us through a programme that ranges from original compositions for accordion to arrangements of classical pieces. Each work, with its own approach, takes us on a sonic journey that reveals the diversity and beauty of the natural world.”

“Composers such as Hosokawa develop this idea of ​​nature through abstract elements, considering “melody” as an incessant stream of sound in our souls. Others, such as Joan Guinjoan and Joaquín Turina, reflect it in a more direct, wilder way, referring to the earth and everyday landscapes.”
