The 2024 Midland Accordion Festival will take place from November 8th to 10th, 2024 at The Mercure Birmingham West Hotel in West Bromwich, England. This annual festival is a gathering of friends far and wide – an annual reunion of accordionists no less, and as always I’m very much looking forward to being there.

The guest artist list includes John Morgan, David Vernon, Julie Best & Jean Corrigan, The Northern Lasses, Anne-Marie Devine & Sean O’Neill, Nigel Pasby & Helen Newton, Harry Hussey, Helen Rich, and Anne & Stewart Towe.

The workshops include:
Intermediate Orchestra – Nigel Pasby
Elementary Orchestra – Jean Hanger
Scottish Orchestra – Angie Lukins
Vintage Orchestra – Jean Hanger
Sue Bennett – one to one tuition

The trade show includes the Birmingham Accordion Centre, The Squeezebox Market Place, Rob Howard’s Accordion Books (pictured below), and Harry Kipling’s Treasures.

If you love accordions, either playing or listening, this festival is most definitely the place to be!
