The Nederlands Symfonisch Accordeon Orkest (NSAO) will perform concerts entitled “NSAO at the Movies” at the Morgenster Hilversum Church in Hilversum, Netherlands on October 11th and 18th, 2025.

Orchestra conductor Tim Fletcher

For the first time in its history, the orchestra, conducted by Tim Fletcher, will present a full evening program featuring exclusively film music, accompanied by film footage and guest soloists.

“Founded in 2008 and specializing in classical music, the NSAO will explore the broad and recognizable repertoire of the film world with this program. Music from thirteen well-known films will be performed in two 45-minute segments.”

The concert will be enhanced by the participation of three soloists:

  • Pauline van Eijk, singer known for her performance in Una Voce Particolare, active in various opera productions
  • Ingrid Lubbers, violinist, studied at the Fontys Conservatory in Tilburg and has been active in the National Youth Orchestra and the National Symphonic Chamber Orchestra, among others. She is active as a chamber musician in various ensembles.
  • Bente van Huffelen, a promising Music Theatre student at ArtEZ, specializing in modern and classical singing.

“With this project, the NSAO aims to introduce new audiences to the rich sound of the accordion orchestra. The combination of recognizable music, film footage, and guest appearances makes the concert very accessible to a wide audience.”
