Safe Space CD Cover

The complexity and frenzy of our lives today often requires an escape. An escape that takes us to more serene and reassuring landscapes. The Arek Czernysz Quartet takes us on a journey with their new CD “Safe Space”.

These pieces lack aggression; they are full of expressiveness, relaxation, and above all, refined musical artistry. Repetition becomes hypnosis, a reassuring hypnosis that lets the mind wander.

These musical journeys are marvelous not only thanks to Arek’s inventiveness and his remarkable ability to present a fresh and youthful jazz accordion, but also to the prowess of Marcin Elszkowski on trumpet, Radosław Łukaszewicz on double bass, and Michał Szeligowski on drums.

All compositions are by Arek Czernysz:

· Waves
· Baltic night
· Not far from home
· Peaceful refuge
· Message
· Movement
· Safe Space

Arek Czernysz is a graduate of the Jazz and Entertainment Music Department at the Academy of Music in Gdańsk, currently based in Warsaw.
