The Norwegian Accordion Championships began on June 30th and will run until July 3rd at the Storefjell Resort Hotel in Golsfjellet, Norway, organised by the Norske Trekkspilleres Landsforbund –NTL (Norwegian Accordion Players’ National Association).

The event will include competitions, concerts, good food and socializing in beautiful surroundings for both accordionists and enthusiasts. Competition classes include Chamber, Orchestral, Variety and Entertainment music categories.

Concerts will be given by Radu Ratoi (Moldova – picture left), Happy Skvett (picture below), Sigmunds, and the Eirik Rottem Eide Trio which includes accordionist Kai Roger Magnetun.
