The Old Fashioned Pub Singalong Weekend run by accordionist Ian Lowthian, will be held in Ettrickbridge, Scottish Borders, Scotland on May 30th and 31st, 2026.
This is a live event for mixed instruments but you can also join by Zoom.
The weekend will feature a “broad repertoire of tunes and songs, old and new that will liven up the pub on the Saturday night. Songs like ‘Maybe it’s because I’m a Londoner’, ‘The wild mountain thyme’, ‘I’ll tell my ma’, ‘Roll out the barrel’, ‘Whisky in the jar’, ‘Knees up Mother Brown’ etc. No doubt there will be a few sea shanties and pop songs too. Perhaps ‘Hi ho silver lining’ and ‘Sweet Caroline’ will crop up.”
