The Cape Town Tango Ensemble will present “another musically evocative show” exploring the music of Argentine composer and virtuoso bandoneón player Astor Piazzolla. The concert will be held at the Endler Hall Stellenbosch in Stellenbosch, South Africa on October 8th, 2026 at 1pm, courtesy of Toyota Stellenbosch Woordfees.

Piazzolla created a whole new musical genre based on Argentina’s national dance that is bold and utterly irresistible. Come and discover the man whose life story was, in his own words, ‘one of both angels and demons’.

The CT Tango Ensemble consists of Stanislav Angelov (accordion, bandoneon), Petrus de Beer (violin), Albert Combrink (piano) and Donat Pellet (double bass).
