Prelude Accordion Ensemble – Get to the Keys Seminar – Germany

Making music is more fun together. This seminar is aimed at adult accordion players with basic previous knowledge, who have so far mainly had individual lessons or are returning to work. Under the direction of Sybille Kuhn, participants can experience making music in an ensemble, receive valuable tips on playing technique and get to know new ensemble literature.

The seminar will be held at the Music School Metzingen in Metzingen, Germany on June 28th, 2025 from 10:00 – 17:30, organised by the DHV-Landesverband Baden-Württemberg e. V. and the Music School Metzingen.

Seminar contents:
– Making music in an ensemble
– General hints and tips on the playing technique of the accordion
– Getting to know and working on ensemble literature

You will need your own instrument for the course. Basic knowledge of accordion playing is a prerequisite for participation.

Sybille Kuhn studied at the Hohner Conservatory in Trossingen with a major in “Interdisciplinary Accordion” and works as a music teacher at the Metzingen Music School. She has been playing actively in various accordion orchestras and ensembles for many decades, including the State Accordion Orchestra/Symphonic Accordion Orchestra “SakkOH” and the first accordion orchestra of the Chorgemeinschaft Köngen e. V.
