Radu Ratoi (Moldova) has been selected as one of the 37 musicians advancing to the semi-finals of the 2024 Susan Wadsworth International Auditions. He says “It’s an incredible opportunity to be among such talented artists from around the world.”

Radu is the only accordionist selected from more than 180 applicants and he will be competing among musicians from all instruments and chamber groups.

The Young Concert Artists (YCA) semi-final round of auditions will be held from October 23rd to 25th, 2024 at the Merkin Hall, Kaufman Music Center in New York City, USA.

The final round, sponsored by the Linda & Isaac Stern Charitable Foundation, will be held on October 27th, 2024, also at Merkin Hall.

A Winners Concert will follow on October 28th, 2024 at 7:00pm at New York’s Gilder Lehrman Hall at The Morgan Library & Museum.

The finals will be broadcast live on The Violin Channel.
