Report: Knutsford Accordion Day is also World Accordion Day Event – UK

The Knutsford Accordion Day is their World Accordion Day event and was held at The Hall at Marthall in Knutsford, Cheshire, England on May 10th, 2025.

Organised by the North Staffs Accordion Club, the day featured featured an orchestra workshop led by Jane Ward (No 1 Ladies Accordion Orchestra), starting at 10am.

This piece ‘Beguine For Bert’ is an original composition by Jane. The players came together for the first time on the day of the workshop.

The day concluded with a concert by the orchestra plus solo performances by Julie Best, Wendy Farran, Jane Ward plus a duet performance by Ken and Wendy Farran.
