“Skerryvore” will perform at the Tønder Festival 2026, which will take place at various venues in Tønder, Denmark from August 26th to 29th, 2026.

The festival features four days of folk, roots, singer-songwriter and musical encounters across cultures and genres, with a “rich mix of folk, roots, country, blues, cajun, and world music”.

“Tønder Festival is known for its very special atmosphere, where musicians and audience have close encounters, and where grand concerts go hand in hand with spontaneous jam sessions. The atmosphere at the festival site is intimate and full of Danish ‘hygge’ and, in addition to the music, offers art, events, artist talks, food stalls, restaurants, bars and much more.”

Skerryvore, which includes Daniel Gillespie (accordion), have played at this festival seven times, most recently in 2024. Now they’re back and it’s in a prime time spot: they are playing the final slot on the Open Air stage on Saturday evening, August 29th, 2026.
