Accordionist Sofia Ros Gonzalez (picture right – Spain) has won first prize in the 18 to 21 Year Old section of the Online International Music Competition in Russia.

The competition included categories for a variety of instruments, with age groups from under 9 years to over 56 years.

The competition aims to give musicians the “opportunity to demonstrate their talent and dedication to music, and receive a Diploma of the international competition in electronic form”.

Sofia’s program included Scarlatti Sonata k.141 in D minor, Córdoba by Isaac Albeniz and Scherzo-Tocatta by P. Londonov.
