The Ministry of Business and Made in Italy selected eight companies to issue definitive stamps for the series “Excellence of the Production System and Made in Italy.” Scandalli Accordions was one of these companies. The presentation took place on 7 July 2026, at the Ministry of Business and Made in Roma.

Stamp description by Poste Italia:
Scandalli Fisarmoniche, a 1940s orchestra composed of male and female musicians, immersed in the harmony of Scandalli accordions. At the top, the company logo. The stamp is completed by the legend “FISARMONICHE” (Accordions).

The 7 July 2026 ceremony was presided over by the Minister of Business and Made in Italy, Senator Adolfo Urso, and the Undersecretary of State with responsibility for Philately, Fausta Bergamotto. Luca Sciascia, Head of Valuable Products at the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato, and Giovanni Machetti, Head of Philately at Poste Italiane also attended that ceremony.
With these issues, we recognize companies that represent the quality, manufacturing expertise, and strength of Made in Italy around the world. Their industrial histories are diverse, yet united by a common thread: the connection to the region, the continuity of tradition, and the capacity for innovation. This is also what the philatelic campaign is all about: a tool to narrate the nation’s industrial identity and preserve the collective memory of the excellence that has contributed to Italy’s growth ,” said Minister Adolfo Urso.
“These companies and their products tell us all a story, a story based on shared elements: a passion for tradition, a focus on innovation, a meticulous pursuit of quality, and a strong local connection. These elements combine to create the distinctive features of a strong entrepreneurial identity, an ever-increasingly valuable element in a global, competitive, and often imitative economy ,” declared Undersecretary Fausta Bergamotto.”

Representing the companies was: Sofia Maria Santoni (Santoni Company), Moreno Gesti (Consortium of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena), Ravarino Municipal Councilor Lorenzo Azzi (Sofidel), Nina Cortese (Amplifon), Serena Galatà (Layla Cosmetics), Anna Mareschi Danieli (Danieli Officine Meccaniche), Mirco Patarini (Scandalli Accordions), and Federica Nobili (Rubinetterie Stella).

“Authorities, distinguished guests, collaborators, and friends, welcome!
We at Scandalli are honoured and proud to receive this recognition, and we wanted to share this satisfaction with everyone. What better occasion than the International Accordion Prize for a postmark here in Castelfidardo?
Seeing our history, the journey of a company to which we have dedicated so much work, imprinted on such a small yet immensely powerful object is something extraordinary. The stamp is not simply a piece of collectible paper: it is a vehicle of memory, a piece of history that travels from hand to hand and that, from today, will carry our message around the world.
A special thanks goes to the institutions that made this tribute possible and, above all, to all our artisans, collaborators, and musicians who, day after day, bring our company to life.“
