The Swiss Accordion Orchestra have been invited to perform at a celebration of Freddie Mercury’s 80th Birthday, held in Montreux, Switzerland on September 5th, 2026, from 5pm.

“The concert will take place just a few meters from the emblematic statue of the singer on the shores of Lake Geneva. This event brings together passionate musicians around a repertoire dedicated to the legendary band Queen.”

Freddie Mercury was the iconic lead singer of the group “Queen” from 1970 for approximately 20 years.

The concert program will feature “several absolute classics by Queen” including:

Bohemian Rhapsody
The Show Must Go On
Don’t Stop Me Now
We Are the Champions
