Swedish-Estonian musician Tuulikki Bartosik (accordionist, composer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist, with degrees in classical and traditional music) has been nominated in the 2024 Songlines Music Awards “Best Artist” category for her latest album “Playscapes” (Efni Records).

Playscapes also received recognition as the Folktronica of the Year by Lira Musikmagasin. “The mixing of acoustic folk music with sensitive electronic embellishments is far from obvious…however, accordionist Tuulikki Bartosik’s latest album is a prime example of how seamlessly two seemingly disparate expressions can blend together into something so natural.”
