The VII International Competition of Accordion Players “Concord of Sounds 2027” will be held in person and virtually at the Mārupe Music and Art School in Jaunmārupe, Mārupes Novads, Latvia on May 12th and 13th, 2027.

The event is organized by Mārupe Music and Art School in cooperation with the Accordion class of Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, Confédération Mondiale de l’Accordéon (CMA), International Music Schools Association “CON ANIMA”, and the society “MMMS AB”.

The aim of the competition is to promote the growth of professional skills of young musicians; to contribute to the development of young musicians’ performance culture and artistry; to discover young talented performers; and to promote playing the accordion among young people.

The competition is open to participants in music schools, secondary schools and higher educational establishments.

The registration deadline is April 21st, 2027.
