The Washington Metropolitan Accordion Society (WMAS) will celebrate their 21st Anniversary with a concert and workshop at the Sleepy Hollow United Methodist Church in Falls Church, Virginia, USA on February 25th, 2024 from 2pm.

Special guest “Papa Joe” De Clemente (picture below) will perform at the event.

The WMAS was the 2003 brainchild of Karen Malan-Uribe, who learned to play the accordion as a child in Michigan where her father ran a music school. Twenty one years on, Karen remains active but stepped down as president in 2010.
