Xu Xiaonan with Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra Celebrate 75th Anniversary of the People’s Republic of China

On September 30 accordionist Xu Xiaonan joined the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra for a special symphony concert at the Shenzhen Concert Hall, celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
Xu Xiaonan, an associate professor of accordion at the Central Conservatory of Music, showcased his unique talent in this monumental performance. As the first doctor of accordion at the conservatory and the Director of its Keyboard Teaching and Research Section, he has received four awards from China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism. His international competition success include winning the prestigious 10th China Music Golden Bell Award and first place at the 2012 CIA Coupe Mondiale Accordion.
The Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra concert on September 30th served as a fitting tribute to the People’s Republic of China, with Xu Xiaonan’s involvement adding a memorable highlight to the evening.
Xiaonan will also give a solo recital in Guangzhou on October 29th, further showcasing his skills as a soloist.
