The 1st Moldova Accordion Days is more than just a festival or competition. It’s the “result of passion, years of behind-the-scenes work, and a dream come true.”

Radu Rățoi, Founder and Artistic Director of Moldova Accordion Days, “is one of the youngest accordionists in the world to have won over 60 prestigious awards in the field.”

Driven by the desire to share his love for the accordion, he brings this event to his home country, Moldova, inviting international accordionists, musicians, and lovers of accordion and classical music.

During Moldova Accordion Days, guests will enjoy beautiful concerts not only in the capital but in other locations as well.

Young and experienced accordionists will compete in Classical, Virtuoso, Chamber, and Folk music competition categories for top prizes, including monetary awards and special distinctions (to be announced soon).

Accordion teachers will lead masterclasses and workshops, as well as special premieres and presentations.
