2026 The Sixth Xinjiang Tacheng International Accordion Culture and Art Festival is a three day festival which attracts enormous audiences for its large outdoor Opening Concert.

In 2025, Tacheng City achieved a world record ensemble of 5,282 accordionists.

Tacheng is renowned as a city that loves accordion and has many accordion statutes and other accordion promotions throughout the city, including the largest accordion museum in China and possibly the largest accordion museum in the world.

Tacheng Official Welcome Banquet

An official welcome banquet lunch was organised by the Tacheng City Government and officials. Each table had an invitation card with the table attendees (see pictures below) who all enjoyed an excellent buffet featuring locally grown and produced foods, ice creams and water. Most enjoyable products.

This closed the formal part of the Opening Ceremony speeches by Tacheng and regional government officials. The performers then came on stage entertaining the audience of over 5,000.

The Opening Ceremony finished with fireworks and drone dragons circling the stadium to the delight of the audience and nearby citizens of the city.
