The 2025 PIF Castelfidardo Accordion Festival will take place from 10 – 14 September 2025. The 50th PIF Castelfidardo Festival will be celebrated at the “home of the accordion” Castelfidardo.

The PIF Castelfidardo Competitions and Festival is organised by the City Council of Castelfidardo led by Mayor Roberto Ascani, the Castelfidardo Pro Loco Tourist Association headed by Ruben Cittadini and 2025 PIF Artistic Director Antonio Spaccarotella.

The PIF Premio Award, the most prestigious PIF category features three finalists in the 3rd round, performing with a full symphony orchestra in the Teatro Astra. 2025 Rules and Regulations.

For 2025, its the 50th edition, PIF Castelfidardo International Accordion Award which has become an international accordion event with great spirit and musical innovation.

The beginnings of the International Accordionist Exhibition in 1963, fifty-eight years ago, then began introducing foreign participants in 1975 and the 1st National Accordionist Championship in 1979. Known as the International Accordion Festival from 1989 to 2013, it was called PIF for the first time in 2014, at the edition with Roberto Lucanero as artistic director.

These historical beginnings 50 years ago, projects the PIF into the future with great enthusiasm. Edition after edition, has shown that a solid experience and love for music and the accordion are fundamental ingredients required to keep evolving and growing PIF Castelfidardo in the name of top quality.
