Scenic Tour to the Countryside

We had a morning scenic tour through farming areas to the area near the border with Kazakhstan. In fact, Tacheng has a nearby 480-kilometer-long border with Kazakhstan to its northwest. We then stopped in the beautiful countryside for a short concert.

Luxury Lunch

We were lucky enough to be invited to the family restaurant of one of the volunteers, Han Yating, for a luxury lunch along with cultural entertainment. Her father Han Dejun is the Chef and last also had a group of accordionists for a very nice lunch at the family marriage function center. Superb food and a great time and everyone thanked them for such hospitality.

Closing Ceremony

“Pearl of the Silk Road, Chasing Dreams Together” 2025 Xinjiang Tacheng 5th International Accordion Culture and Arts Festival Closing Ceremony. An enormous crowd of about 7 – 9,000 people attended the Closing Ceremony at the very picturesque North Square of Qianquan Lake, Tacheng.
