This edition, organized by the Entre Fuelles Foundation, reaffirmed its itinerant, educational, and decentralized character, reaching audiences in Santiago, Ñuñoa, Rancagua, and San Vicente de Tagua Tagua, among other locations.

The focus of FIA2025 was to strengthen the artistic and technical level of the festival. According to its artistic director, Joaquín Muñoz Donoso, this edition marked a qualitative leap: “The goal was to professionalize the festival and create a snowball effect: to grow every day in venues, theaters, audiences, the number of musicians, and quality. This year, we culminated with the National Accordion Orchestra of Chile, the Mosh String Quintet, and international soloist Mirco Patarini.”

With auditoriums ranging from intimate rooms for 40 people to theaters with over 400 seats, the festival offered a broad program that included traditional Chilean music, jazz, Brazilian music, Balkan music, classical repertoire, contemporary, and orchestral music, showcasing the versatility of the instrument and the diversity of its performers.

Additionally, throughout the week, FIA2025 developed a program that combined training and creation, featuring activities such as an academic day at the University of Chile, the premiere of the FIA2024 documentary, and a masterclass-concert led by Joaquín Muñoz Donoso. The edition culminated in an artistic milestone: the incorporation of string instruments in the closing concert alongside international guest Mirco Patarini.

Participating institutions also appreciated the growth and quality of FIA, reinforcing the territorial and educational commitment that characterizes the event.

For the Entre Fuelles Foundation, this edition left a particularly significant mark: “We are proud of this festival and of sharing our country, its culture, music, food, and traditions with foreign guests. As a team, we feel deeply proud of the energy we put into every detail to offer a professional and human experience to the artists. Many more FIAs will come throughout our lives.”
