Stas Venglevski (USA) performed the premiere of his latest original solo composition “Mizunashi River” this month in Japan. The Mayor of Hadano City and city official members were in the audience.

Stas was inspired to write this piece as the Mizunashi River in Japan is called “the river without water”.

During the tour of Japan, Stas performed concerts with accordionist Mihoko Goto at the Osaka City Community Center and the Russian Consulate-General, sponsored by the Kansai Nichiro Cultural Salon, representative Takashi Iwasa in Osaka.

Further ensemble concerts were held at “Akasaka Tonarite” in Tokyo with Mihoko Goto, Chiharu Ebihara and Megumi.
