“Silk Road Taste & Accordion Melody Tacheng” 3rd International Cooking Competition

This amazing taste and food show, promoted all the farm products of the region and was attended by a very large crowd. The food competition display, especially of accordion food shapes, was quite exceptional. Enjoy the pictures below.

Afternoon Performances

West Food Street Balcony Music Show to Huge Crowds

A tremendous fun street festival with about 20 thousand people enjoying accordion music, singing, dancing and clapping. A entertaining street party enjoyed by everyone.

One of the performers was Teacher Dawuran, (see pictures below) a professional accordion player. He has worked at the Tacheng Museum for more than ten years, ever since its founding in 2015. Prior to joining the museum in 2015, he spent 2-3 years collecting accordions from various locations and became one of the founders of this terrific museum.
