Before the Event
The 2025 XinJiang Tacheng International Accordion Culture and Art Festival is a three day festival which attracts enormous audiences for its three main outdoor public concerts. Tacheng which is renowned as a city that loves accordion and has accordion statutes and promotions throughout the city including the largest accordion museum in China and one of the largest in the world.
Part of this festival includes an international Accordion Museum forum and Belt and Road exchange activity, a Culinary Competition and Food Tasting Conference, plus quite a few township Folk Activities.
There was an array of useful beautiful accordion graphics gifts which are pictured below. The accordion is akin to a symbol of the city, and out of every 10 people there will be two or three who can play the accordion.

Accordion Museum Tour
A tour was made of this magnificent accordion museum that beautifully presents the history of the accordion. This is an enormous accordion museum, the largest in China and one of the largest in the world. There are only a few pictures within the museum here as we returned to the hotel for a meeting before the Opening Ceremony but all the other guests enjoyed a most interesting tour.

The Opening Ceremony with an outdoor audience of about 6,000 enjoyed superb stage lighting and on stage electronic graphics. The changing graphics were very impressive with excellent dancing, costumes and choreography. You can see from the below pictures, just how colorful the presentation with the audience presented a great variety of dance, comedy and music styles.
